Believe in Yourself

Ever seen a child learning a new task? Observe them closely and you will learn that they make mistakes while learning how to ride bicycle or write, and we don’t give it a second thought because we know that through their mistakes they will learn, and eventually master. But this perception changes as we grow old and become taller. In adulthood, we become hard on ourselves when we make mistakes. We don’t learn from the mistake and instead take it as a setback and dishearten ourselves. We don’t consider our mistakes as a lesson learnt, but instead repent and regret and circumambulate ourselves in a spiral of negativity. We give up on our hopes and don’t understand that the obstacles and the barricades are steps that would progress us towards the final goal, because there’s a higher level than the top and we are here to make more. We get riled easily by every setback because we don’t believe in ourselves. We don’t believe in our capabilities that have the power to move mountains. A life of mediocrity is not what the almighty has planned for us. We all hold infinite potential in ourselves that is trapped within our hearts and soul and which needs to be vented.
All of us wish to reach the pinnacle. The zenith is aspired by all and on this path to the ultimate goal, there are going to be hurdles- people, circumstances and situations that will desist you to go further. Don’t remorse during such set-ups. Fight these circumstances and learn from them. One of the best ways to let go your follies is to laugh at them. A protagonist is never discouraged when he makes mistakes- he makes mistakes, falls, cries but when he gets up and recovers, you can see the spark of heroism in his eyes. Be an ardent believer in the almighty and trust him. He does everything to shower abundance in every sphere of our lives. Remember, we all are the children of Adam, falling from heights is in our blood. The haters will speak ill; the circumstances will not show up the way you wished them to be, but all this must not detriment you from reaching the final destination. More painstaking the effort, more fruitful will be the result. Have staunch belief in your abilities. Believe in the impossible, we all are conditioned to have more abundance. Hold tight to the incredible and every step you climb will get you closer to your ultimate goal, your dreams, and your passions.

Learn from your past but focus extensively on your present. We all are a wonderful manifestation. Remember, you become what you believe yourself to be. Bear hardships today that will make your tomorrow a better place. Happiness is just around the next turn when you believe on You!

A Letter to a Lethal Timid

"I quietly but persistently punished myself, shredded off the skin until nothing was left except the scent of blood on my fingers. I worked very hard to not let the black spot grow into cancer and slosh me down. On countless occasions, your needling, needless remarks pricked my conscience, and my head bursted like a dropped watermelon. You, dear hater, would never know severely have I been sliced by your venomous words. My vigor drained by the end of the day only to hear the slow pulse of its job half done. Saddened, I would scratch my wounds too deep for the healing and then let them open. I remember the nights when my insecurities hemmed in and my sense of fear filled my mouth with hot, dry air and made my body light. I used to watch you with eyes of hate before I realized that you are nothing but a pile of uncemented bricks that would never take a form, and I pitied you. I could clearly hear your enviousness and malice thudding loudly like a horse’s hoof...

Dispatch to a Friend

So this friend came to me the other day and accused me of being a paradox. He complained that your scripts talk about being vigorous and iron-willed while you, on the other hand, seem to be feeble and obscure; that you are a contradiction, full of falsehood and you drop lines on the piece of paper that you’re literally not. I let him had it at that while, because I believe I am good at pushing a pencil and am not blessed with the gift of gab. My dear friend, to you I write, I am a meek valiant. I sob at the sofa in the middle of the day, panting and yearning for something far-fetched. I am a miscalculation of theories and sentiments. While I scribble dauntless and lionhearted beliefs, I might be the most timid and reticent human being you have ever met. I am the one who fragmentizes inward and sheds bitter tears in a dark corner, rather than howling back. This ideal, prototypical girl in the back of my mind that I write about and that, in the heart of hearts, I aspire to ...

Hat Tip- #3

“Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I remember wondering to be always together yet forever apart?”  ―   Nicholas Sparks ,  The Notebook #photography
